ACUPUNCTURE

Sports Medicine & Musculoskeletal Neurologic Needling Acupuncture (SMMNNA):

SMMNNA is a modern approach based upon modern knowledge of anatomical structure and function. It involves orthopedic assessments to diagnose the imbalanced muscles, nervous entrapped by muscles, bones affecting circulation , and meridian groups. The needling is focused on traditional acupuncture points, local tender points ( ahshi points ), trigger points, motor points, and addresses the muscle tears or inflammation directly.

Musculoskeletal Neurologic Needling

Musculoskeletal Neurologic Needling acupuncture is great for acute and chronic muscle pain due to trauma or athletic injuries. It is very effective for performance and post-surgical rehabilitation. Acupuncture improves circulation improving the rate of healing and recovery and has a dramatic effect on reducing inflammation. The needles are more stimulating and often combined with electric stimulation , and various physical manipulations (stretching, deep tissue and range of motion work, etc.).

Motor Control Stability Exercises

Motor Control and Stability exercises may be combined to consolidate the treatments and prevent recurrence as implemented within the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) & Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) systems. SFMA will be used to identify musculoskeletal dysfunction among individuals affected by pain. Whereas the FMS screening tool will be used to identify imbalances in mobility and stability during functional movements.

Needling and Diagnosis

Needling is usually based on pulse, tongue, abdominal, and pressing on affected regions diagnosis.
Meet Dr. Lee

Acupuncture of Yin & Yang
Pulse Diagnosis (YYPD) Protocol

An acupuncture treatment protocol according to ‘Yin & Yang Pulse Diagnosis (YYPD protocol)’ is highly advanced acupuncture diagnosis and treatment technique based on the teachings of Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon, which is considered to be the Bible of Oriental medicine.
To understand, interpret, and utilize the teachings of Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon fully, deeply, correctly, and readily, it requires comprehensive and wide knowledge, insight, and clinical experiences.

Yin & Yang Balance is a key principle

Making yin & yang balance is a key principle to get homeostasis of the human body. As our body’s homeostasis system is being kept by adjusting yin & yang balance, our body’s healing program will be activated to restore its original healthy condition and state.

YYPD Protocol

Basically, the YYPD protocol uses only three needles on the related acupoints in the body and the result of yin & yang balance is very evident and fast from one minute to less than five minutes depending on the patient’s body conditions.

Regardless of any diseases or symptoms of patients,

Regardless of any patient's diseases or symptoms,   YYPD protocol may help patients feeling benefited for good health and well-being immediately and eventually.
